Pre-construction Planning & Consulting
Pre-construction services are essential for the success of any building project; encompassing tasks like planning, budgeting, site evaluations & scheduling. It generally involves a collaboration between sub-trades, vendors, architects, engineers, our clients & ourselves to ensure alignment of vision, feasibility & budgetary constraints. By laying a solid groundwork, projects are poised for smoother execution, timely completion & ultimately, the realization of our clients goals & objectives. During this phase we provide our clients with a set of various deliverables such as a detailed projection of anticipated costs, project schedule, & model.
Building Information Modeling & Design
Building information modeling utilizes advance technologies to create a detailed 3D digital representation of a project's structures & spaces. This allows us & our clients to explore design options, assess feasibility & optimize performance. This proactive approach not only enhances the quality and efficiency of a construction project but also facilitates more informed decision making, streamlines building communication & collaboration throughout the entire lifecycle of the project. This deliverable is usually developed during pre-construction phase but is referenced & updated throughout the entire project.

Paradigm began it's journey as building framers back in 1997, mastering the foundational skills that under pins every construction project. As the years went by, our skills & abilities expanded, allowing us to adapt and undertake a variety of task & projects, while framing remained a core aspect of our expertise. We collaborate with many general contractors in the area on their projects, offering our experience and assistance in various aspects. Our Process & What to Expect

ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude)
We start with a free initial ROM estimate. This preliminary assessment will give us, and yourself, a general idea of the potential project costs, feasibility & timeline based on the project scope information & photos you provide to us. This process usually takes between 2-3 weeks depending project type. Scroll down to our contact page below to send us a direct message with a brief overview of your project. We will reach back out to you within 48 hours to get any additional information and photos to initiate the process.

Pre-Construction Planning
This stage is dedicated to the meticulous examination of your project's specifics. We'll arrange a job walk to visit the site, take photos & measurements, and then meet with you to discuss specific details. We'll then work to provide a comprehensive breakdown of general expenses, labor, materials, trades, timelines, and scope adjustments. You are actively involved throughout this entire process. We conclude this phase by meeting with you to go over all aspects of the estimate, addressing any questions or concerns you may have. This preparation sets the stage for a smooth & successful transition of the project.

The specifics vary for each project, but by the time we "break-ground", much of the preliminary groundwork has been completed, ensuring you'll have solid grasp on what to expect. Throughout the process, you can anticipate timely updates on progress and any unforeseen challenges, transparent discussions about adjustments to the plan or budget as needed. You'll have full access to your project calendar, vendor invoices and detailed labor breakdowns showing tasks completed down to the minute. Additionally, you'll receive a Budget Cost Analysis reflecting current expenses in comparison to your budget.

The Finish
During this post-construction phase, you can expect final inspections will be completed to ensure everything meets quality standards. Any remaining tasks or deficiencies, will be noted in a "final punch list" that is compiled during the final job walk conducted along side you. The items, if any, will then be addressed promptly. The focus shifts to cleaning up the site and making any necessary adjustments before handing over the completed project to you. All final paperwork, documentation and photos will be completed as well. We're always a phone call or email away if something comes up or if you think you might be ready to start on your project.
